If your opponent plays a wrath of the old one at the beginning of their turn, both players must place out a new character.
Is the round over or can attacks still happen?
If an attack is allowed, can the opponent attack back? Even though they had to summon?
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out. Wrath of the old one does not end the players turn. If wrath of the old one is played during the 2nd phase (Summon/Sacrificing) both players would need to put new creatures on the field using normal summoning requirments (This is standard anytime a creature is played to the field). The player who used the Wrath card is required to summon first followed by their opponent. Once this actions of summoning have been completed, the player whos turn it currently is would then be able to chose wether or not they would like to initiate combat. At this time combat would occur normally which both players attacking.
Thank you,
